タフタイト “Taftight” in the flexible rubber mooring rope.
「タフタイト」は、特殊ゴムによる係留索です。浮体とアンカーの間に介在させ、主にマリーナの浮桟橋、ブイ、生簀等の浮体の係留に使用します。
荷重に対する浮体の動揺制御性能をアップするとともに、常時、引張による索の弛み改善を図っています。
“Taftight” will be installed in between the floating object and anchor, thus attenuating the wave movement.

タフタイトの特徴 Characteristics
■安定性
Because of its large flexibility, the floating objects (pontoon) will stay stable regardless of the wave.
タフタイトは大きな弾性を有しています。その伸縮で生じる内部抵抗によって干潮時・満潮時の浮体の動きを規制します。
波・風・海流、或いは、船の接岸等の外力が加わっても、浮体の揺れ・ズレは従来の鋼管杭方式、チェーン方式と比べて、極めて安定しています。

浮体設置のプレハブ化が可能となり、水深が深い所や水底地盤環境が悪い所での工事が容易になり、期間が短縮できます。
浮体の移設、撤去も容易で、メンテナンスも簡単になります。

杭の打設工事等が不要となり、海底にアンカーを沈めるだけで体を設置できます。
海底環境及び全体景観も確保されます。
タフタイトの構造・材質 Product design & material:
タフタイト本体は高強度合成ゴム芯を特殊高強度繊維で補強し、その周囲を耐候性合成ゴムにより補強する等、独自に開発した弾性係留索です。（特許出願中）

その両端には、夫々、アンカーとの接続のための取り外しができる「シャックル」と「浮体との接続のためのナイロンロープ用ガイド」が装着されています。
金属部材は全てステンレス製です。

70％伸び×3,000回以上のくり返し、引張り実験により耐久性を確認しています。

タフタイトの選定 How to select the specifi c line
浮体の負荷に応じてタフタイト本体は1連から6連までの設計に応じた組合せが可能です。
海域の環境条件及び浮体構造物等の条件から連数、長さを選定します。
連数は作用外力から選定します。
Depending on the conditions and environment of the marine,
the number of lines and length will be determined.
The maximum utensil per line is 16,000 N/line.
長さはLWL時で伸び10〜20％、HWLで65％〜70％伸び（4KN）以下となるよう選定します。
水位の変化によらず、常にタフタイトに張力を掛けることがポイントです。
The length will be decided on the condition that the elongation will be 10 to 20% at the Low Water Level (LWL) and 65％〜70％ at the High Water Level (HWL).
Regardless of the water level, the line should be tight all the time.
タフタイトの性能と設置 Quality & installation
LWL時の伸びが10〜20％になるように設置し、HWL時の伸びを65％〜70％以下とします。
この範囲で干満や水位の変化に対応します。
波浪、風等により常用範囲を超える外力を受けても短時間、あるいは周期的に変動する力であれば復元します。
The floating object will keep stable due to the balance between the buoyancy and tension.
実際の破断荷重は20,000Ｎ/本以上です。
Actual minimum utensil / line is 20,000N.
